“…receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 2:21

The Bible says that the Word of God is a living thing (Heb. 4:12-13); more accurately, a living Person! The life inside the Word of God is God. He is eternal, unchangeable, all powerful, and highly active! The above scripture refers to the engrafted Word which has the ability to save our souls. There many benefits of a saved soul too. III John 2 implies that prosperity and healing are manifested in harmony with the prosperity of our souls, which is made up of our mind, will and emotions.

Once the Word becomes engrafted (or infused) in our spirit man it begins to reproduce itself inside us just like seed planted in soil does. The Word actually becomes a part of us and begins to reproduce God’s attributes in us as we continue in the Word by being doers of the Word! Some believe this is just theory – they think we have to wait to get to heaven before this becomes real. No, God delivered His Word to us in THIS LIFE so we would know the Truth and be liberated and empowered by the Truth in this world! Becoming one with the Word is the process of the Word being made flesh in our lives.

The reality is – THE WORD IS YOU! God doesn’t see any difference between His Word and you! What He has declared about you in His Word is the Truth that heaven operates by concerning you! It is spiritual law! God has accepted His Word about you as absolute Truth!                                              1 John 4:17 says, “As He is, so are we in this world!” I know religious people have a tough time with this, but Christ does nothing apart from who He is – the Word of God! He was made flesh and dwelt among us so He could dwell in us. He is infused with our spirit and has made us one together with Him!

This is not rocket science – It’s the process of the engrafted Word that began its work in you with the new birth, and will continue its work in you as you speak the Word in love and “grow up into Him into all things, who is the Head, even Christ.” Ephesians 4:15

With Love,
