Safe

“The Name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10

Safe…! Now there’s a word we’re not hearing much these days! We’re hearing everything but…! We have to remember that spiritual warfare is the battle over the decision-making process of our minds, and much of that has to do with what we are hearing. According to the scripture, faith comes by hearing the Word of God. But, so does fear! That’s why the enemy wants to give us nothing but fear!

Right now, the enemy is doing all the saber-rattling he can to try to distract us in every possible way! It’s time for the righteous to lock in on the Word of God with both eyes, both ears and with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We need to renew our minds to the wonderful Name of Jesus and know that His Name is ours to use with all its power and authority against the enemy!

David had already decided that he would fear no evil, even if he walked “through the valley of the shadow of death! THAT – is where we are right now! The enemy doesn’t want us to see the table set before us. It’s a banquet table prepared for us to feast in the very presence of our enemy! I don’t know about you, but I want to take my place at that table confidently, knowing that we are all safe!

Psalm 91 says, “…I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” Let’s challenge the words of fear with the Words that will stand forever! Let’s disempower those words by declaring the Word of Truth out loud! The greater One is in us! His Name is a Strong Tower! Let’s declare safety over ourselves, our family, and in all God has called us to do!
